KDR Design Builders Inc. truly believes that if you can imagine it, we can build it. When our client purchased this home, it was because the home had a lot of potential and the location was just perfect.

Situated on a gorgeous parcel of land, overlooking the winding Assiniboine River, the home needed a definite facelift to really compliment our client's lifestyle and tastes.

KDR Design Builders Inc. took our client's thoughts and ideas and with the help of the client's designer, was able to completely transform this home's look and feel.

This six week KDR renovation included a complete face-lift. The existing kitchen was transformed: a small 4 X 4 foot island was removed and replaced with a luxurious, two-tiered island with a bar sink and built-in wine rack.

The Great Room was transformed by removing a former wood-burning unit and replacing it with a new remote-controlled gas fireplace that was refinished in cultured stone. The stone fireplace now veers upwards and inwards towards the peak of the cathederal ceiling, giving the room a powerful architectural look.

The 'new' master bedroom now features a beautiful two-sided gas fireplace, a frameless shower and doors opening to the deck area.

In addition, the dining room was refinished to give the area an Oriental feel and all lighting was replaced and additional mood lighting added.

The result is a truly spectacular space that successfully blends function with style!
